Boise Airport is installing new parking technology across all airport garages and the Economy Parking lot in Boise, Idaho. The upgrades include mobile payment, license plate recognition and QR-coded parking tickets.
Boise Airport Parking Technology
Customers can scan the QR code on a parking ticket to check how long they have parked, view the applicable rate, pay and receive a receipt. The system does not require an app download or customer registration.
License plate recognition will verify payment and automatically raise exit gates. Traditional payment methods will remain available.
Boise Airport Installation Schedule
The Car Park is carrying out the improvements. Installation is expected to be substantially complete by November 15.
Boise Airport began operating in 1926 and welcomes more than 5 million passengers each year. Eight airlines serve the airport, offering 30 nonstop destinations.
