Boise County Issues Level 2 Evacuation Alert for Horseshoe Bend Fire Near Old Highway 55

The Boise County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Level 2 “Get Set” evacuation alert for residents along Old Highway 55 in Boise County following the start of the Horseshoe Bend Fire, according to idahonews.com. The fire ignited just before 3 p.m. on Sunday and continues to burn southward.

Evacuation zone HSB-12, which includes Webster Lane residents, is now at Level 2 status, meaning residents face significant risk and should prepare to leave on short notice. The Boise County Sheriff’s Office has requested additional resources to support the fire response effort.

A Level 2 alert indicates that conditions are deteriorating and evacuation may be ordered with minimal warning. Residents in the affected area should monitor official updates and have evacuation plans ready.
