Boise will host the 2026 Light the World Giving Machine Charity kickoff on November 19 at Boise Town Square, where the machines will be unveiled. Idaho residents can use them to donate to local and international causes.
Boise Giving Machines Return
The event is part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ annual Light the World initiative, which encourages service and support for people in the community.
Local recipients listed for 2026 are Assistance League of Boise, Catholic Charities of Idaho, Jem Friends, Jesse Tree and Treasure Valley Family YMCA.
International Charity Recipients
International organizations included in the 2026 effort are Water for Good and Academy for Creating Enterprise.
