Boise Metro Chamber Reveals Finalists for 2026 Small Business and Excellence Awards

Downtown Boise, Idaho

The Boise Metro Chamber has announced the finalists for its annual Small Business and Chamber Excellence Awards, recognizing standout companies and organizations from across the Treasure Valley. Winners will be honored at a luncheon on June 23 at Boise Centre East, where a trade show reception opens at 11 a.m. and the formal awards program begins at noon.

A Broad Field of Finalists Across Boise’s Business Community

The 2026 finalist lineup spans industries from healthcare and food production to nonprofit work and professional services, reflecting the depth and variety of Ada County’s local economy.

In the Small Business of the Year category for companies with ten or fewer employees, finalists include Atlas Strategic Communications and White Whale Web. For businesses in the 11 to 50 employee range, the finalists are A Better Solution In Home Care, Pacific North Contractors, and Stoltz Marketing Group.

The Community Engagement Excellence Award finalists are Two Men & A Truck and Zions Bank, both recognized for their contributions to the broader Boise community beyond day-to-day business operations.

Three businesses are competing for the Food & Agriculture Industry Excellence Award: ERTH Beverage Company, Kanak Attack Catering, and Telaya Wine Co. — a nod to Boise’s growing food and beverage sector.

The Healthcare Industry Excellence Award finalists are Ascend Physical Therapy, Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital, and Gemba Boise, representing a segment of the local economy that has seen significant growth across the Treasure Valley in recent years.

On the nonprofit side, United Way of Treasure Valley and the Women’s & Children’s Alliance are finalists for the Nonprofit Excellence Award, underscoring the role of mission-driven organizations in supporting Ada County families and residents.

Travel and Hospitality Legacy Award Among Top Honors

Three organizations are in the running for the Jim Moore Lifetime Legacy Award for Excellence in Travel & Hospitality: Boise Airport, Duck Club Entertainment, and Enterprise Mobility. The award highlights sustained contributions to the region’s visitor economy and transportation infrastructure.

The ceremony will also include induction into the Chamber Hall of Fame and presentation of the Government Advocate of the Year recognition — two honors that reflect the chamber’s focus on both long-term business leadership and civic engagement in the Boise area.

Boise Metro Chamber President and CEO Bobbi-Jo Meuleman said the finalist class illustrates what makes the region’s business environment distinctive. “This year’s finalists showcase the innovation, resilience and community impact that define our region’s business community,” she said.

Impact on Ada County’s Small Business Economy

The annual awards serve as more than a ceremonial recognition — they draw attention to the small businesses and civic organizations that form the backbone of Ada County’s local economy. From healthcare providers serving Boise-area residents to contractors and marketing firms fueling commercial growth in Meridian, Eagle, and beyond, the finalists collectively represent a significant share of the private-sector employment driving the Treasure Valley forward.

For small business owners navigating rising costs, competitive labor markets, and ongoing growth pressures across the region, events like this provide visibility and recognition that can translate into real community goodwill and customer loyalty.

The event is presented by Bank of America and Meta, with sponsorship from Blue Cross of Idaho, Boise Centre, Delta Air Lines, Idaho Business Review, and St. Luke’s Health Plan.
