Boise State men’s basketball released its complete 15-game non-conference schedule Monday, marking the program’s first season competing in the Pac-12 Conference. The Broncos will open at home on November 4 against West Coast Baptist in a matchup that represents the first meeting between the two programs in Boise State history.
The schedule reflects a balanced approach, with eight games hosted at ExtraMile Arena in Boise and seven contests played away or at neutral sites. Head coach Leon Rice’s squad will benefit from three consecutive home games to begin the season, establishing early rhythm before traveling and competing at neutral venues later in the fall.
November and December Matchups
Following the season opener, the Broncos will host Butler on November 8 and Oakland on November 11 to complete their opening homestand. The schedule then moves to neutral territory on November 15, when Boise State travels to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to face Nebraska.
The home slate continues with Sam Houston State on November 20 and Idaho State on November 24. Boise State then heads to Idaho Falls for the Snake River Invitational, competing against Drake (November 27), North Texas (November 28), and North Dakota State (November 29).
December features Boise State’s only true road game against Wichita State on December 5. The Broncos return home for contests against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (December 12) and Utah Valley (December 16) before traveling to San Juan Capistrano, California, for back-to-back neutral-site games against Santa Clara (December 21) and New Mexico (December 23) at JSerra Catholic High School.
New Mexico marks the lone former Mountain West Conference rival on the non-conference slate, connecting Boise State to its previous conference home. The schedule wraps with Lamar on December 29 at ExtraMile Arena, the final non-conference game before Pac-12 play begins.
Pac-12 Conference Play Ahead
While the non-conference portion is set, Boise State’s complete 16-game Pac-12 schedule remains under announcement. The addition to the Power Five conference represents a significant step for the program, and the non-conference slate has been constructed to prepare the Broncos for the elevated competition level they will face in league play.
