ITD Begins Overnight Ramp Repaving at Meridian's Ten Mile Interchange Monday Night

Drivers passing through Meridian’s Ten Mile Interchange on Interstate 84 will face overnight lane closures starting Monday, August 17, as the Idaho Transportation Department launches a repaving project at Exit 42.

Crews will work between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., closing on-ramps one at a time rather than simultaneously. Motorists needing access will be detoured to the Meridian Road Interchange at Exit 44.

ITD officials note the work is weather dependent, meaning schedules and specific paving locations are subject to change. The project is part of the department’s ongoing roadway maintenance priorities for the I-84 corridor in the Treasure Valley.

Drivers who want real-time updates can text “84CORRIDOR” to 1-866-483-8422 to receive notifications about schedule changes or shifting work locations.

Commuters traveling westbound or eastbound on I-84 through Meridian should plan for possible delays during overnight hours and allow extra time if their route typically uses the Ten Mile on-ramps. With Ada County’s continued population growth putting heavier demands on I-84, routine maintenance projects like this one are increasingly common along the corridor.
