Idaho State Police responded to the scene at milepost 95 in Valley County shortly after 12:23 p.m. Investigators stated that the rider lost control of a 2026 Honda CBR650 motorcycle, leaving the roadway and traveling down an embankment.
The vehicle came to rest in heavy brush near an empty pond. Authorities confirmed the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Despite the severity of the crash, traffic on Highway 55 was not blocked, allowing commuters through the area without significant delays.
