Reese’s has named two Boise neighborhoods as regional leaders in its annual competition to find the Trick-or-Treatiest Street in America. The candy company appointed an expert panel, including actors Kathy Najimy and Christina Ricci, to evaluate communities across the country based on decorations, visitor traffic, Halloween spirit, and social media engagement.
Boise Neighborhoods Lead Regional Scores
North Harrison Boulevard and East Warm Springs Avenue currently top the Northwest region in the “Haunt” category, which measures decorative effort and spooky atmosphere. North Harrison Boulevard earned a Haunt score of 89.5, while East Warm Springs scored 88.4. In the “Haul” category, which tracks treat distribution and visitor volume, East Warm Springs leads with an 88.3 score, followed closely by North Harrison Boulevard at 83.0.
The contest highlights the significant effort Ada County residents put into holiday traditions. Reese’s noted that thousands of visitors flood the North End each Halloween for the elaborate displays and full-size treats available on North Harrison Boulevard.
Historic Charm Meets Modern Competition
East Warm Springs Avenue brings a different character to the contest, featuring homes built in the 1890s and early 1900s. The historic architecture provides a unique backdrop for the neighborhood’s Halloween decorations, contributing to its high regional ranking.
The overall national winner will be announced in 11 days. Residents in Boise and across Idaho can follow the results as the council finalizes its evaluation of participating streets nationwide.
